Whatever your translation need is: business or pleasure, study or leisure, I’ve got a perfect solution for you. Currently I offer the following translation services:

Simultaneous interpreting. A simultaneous interpreter translates after the speaker in real time mode with a few seconds delay. This type of interpreting is better suited for large-scale events with numerous participants or for events that have a strict time limit, such as: conferences, international conventions, presentations of any sort: vacation ownership “roadshows”, sales presentations etc. The great advantage of simultaneous interpreting is that it’s much faster than the consecutive interpreting, therefore it’s much better suited for summits and conferences that involve interchanging a great amount of information.
Consecutive interpreting. In this case, the interpreter waits for a speaker to finish speaking (usually pronouncing up to 5-6 sentences) and then translates these sentences in one go. This type of interpreting is used in situations where a limited number of participants is involved, or where a personal approach is required: these could be job interviews, press conferences, HR meetings, business negotiations, assistance to non-Spanish speakers when visiting local government offices and other kinds of face-to-face encounters. It makes the communication more fluid and allows the counterparts more time to think over the topic of the conversation. Although it costs less than the simultaneous translation, the downside of it is that it takes a lot more time.
Liaison interpreting. This type of interpreting is better suited for meetings between two persons or two small groups of persons, where the interpreter acts as a mediator between the speakers and works in both directions, that is, translates from English to Spanish and vice versa. It’s recommended for small business meetings, interviews or negotiations involving few participants, personal visits to government agencies, doctor or lawyer appointmentsand any other meetings with few people involved.
Web-page translation and localization** (for pages created using CMS like WordPress, Joomla or Drupal, or in html, xml, txt formats). Not only the web-page front-end (that means the whole set of pages visible to the web-users) is translated, but also the back-end (that includes service messages, strings and admin information), thus ensuring an attractive and user-friendly product for your page visitors.
Written document translation. Documents are delivered to the translator in digital or physical format and returned once translated in previously agreed format*.
* A few tips for getting a better price for document translation: the preferred formats of source documents are Word, Txt, Excel or editable PDF. Discounts are given for large volume of text or for providing glossaries.
** Linguistic localization is the second stage of translation process that involves adaptating a language product to a specific country or region. Tt involves a comprehensive study of the target culture in order to correctly adapt the product to local needs.
